Large Weller Woodcraft wall pocket with a large Squirrel perched on the side of an oak tree with acorns all around. Certainly a delightful piece for lovers of nature and art pottery collectors alike. Weller started the Woodcraft line in 1917 ending it in the mid 20's. The wall pocket is 9-1/2" long and 4-5/8" wide on the top and in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. Wonderful tall Weller Dickensware Vase circa mid teens measuring 13" tall and 6" at its widest. The vase pictures a carved monk with painted head and standard glazed body. The piece is marked with the Weller oval Dickensware mark as shown and has no chips or cracks(any white areas seen in the photo is caused by sun glare).
Weller Coppertone flaring vase with a frog perched on both sides among water lily and cat tails. The piece measures 8 1/4" x 9 1/4" and is marked with the Weller kiln stamp. There are no chips or cracks to the piece.
Very early Rookwood signed Matt Daly 9.5" tall Limoges style vase. The piece is a wonderful early example of Daly's work while at Rookwood where he started in 1882 and continued until 1902. This artist led the way for many other Rookwood decorators and was known as an innovator in pottery forms, shapes, sizes and in the quality of his decorating.
