Highly desirable and excellent pair of Karl Kipp Princess candlesticks. Karl Kipp was one of Roycroft's finest designers and became the foreman of the Roycroft Copper Shop before leaving in 1912 to open the his own shop whose wares were shop marked with the back to back K's signifying Karl Kipp's initials. Beautiful Handel reverse/obverse painted lmp with a band of poppy blooms, pods, and leaves in a wide band encircling the shade in a 3 dimensional effect. The shade has no chips, cracks or repairs and is in excellent original condition. The Handel signed reeded base is also in excellent condition with no wear, a very dark bronze patina with green verdigris highlights, two Hubbell sockets with acorn pulls, and fresh cloth wiring. Handel desk lamp with a rare late 1800's Handel Tam-O-Shanter shade which is signed Handel 754 with a model description of Pompaque and Patent numbers 97966 and 775818. The shade has no chips or cracks but some minor rubs to the obverse painted surface which is considered minor for a shade over 100 years old. Woodcut restrike of Gustav Bouman's famous and very rare woodcut titled "Sequoia Forest" that sells at $10,000 plus if you can find it. Scene is of a dark pristine Sequoia forest with deer feeding at the base of the immense tree trunks. Very nice wood arts and crafts frame with a double matt. Measures 15" X 18" overall with a sight of 7 1/2" by 12".

Handel brown acid etched Mosserine desk lamp in the larger of two sizes that Handel produced. Shade has a professionally restored hairline which is hard to see lit or unlit.
