Unusual early Hampshire leaf bowl in a dead matte experimental thinly applied green/blue glaze with finely applied high relief leaves. Much of the clay shows through the glaze to form a pleasing effect. The top rim feels rough to the touch but is original to the piece with the glaze undisturbed. Inscribed with the Hampshire Pottery signed mark on the bottom with a circled M. Measures 6 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" tall.
