Rare Porceleyne Fles cloisonne Delft tile featuring a pair of Owls sitting on what wall in front of a Southwest mission. The tile has a very arts and crafts look to it with the background in a royal blue and owls in earthy tones, foliage and mission buildings in green and brown tones. The condition of the tile is excellent with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs. Stunning and large Arts and Crafts de Porceleyne Fles Delft cuenca framed wall tile depicting a peacock type bird standing in an archway surrounded by ivy. The tile is in excellent condition with no damage, repairs or restoration. It measures 12 1/2" high and 4 1/4" wide and has the factory’s mark to the back (see inset). The tile is in its original quartered oak frame. One of the hardest to find early cuenca Delft tiles and most detailed in execution.

Early Large Arts and Crafts Delft Parrot Tile. Beautiful 4 3/4" wide x 13" tall cloisonne Delft wall tile by the Royal Delft Company De Porceleyne Fles & designed by the famous (for his animal tiles) L.E.F. Bodart, chief designer there from 1888 to 1933. These animal tiles were made from 1906 to 1920. Mint condition with no chips or cracks.
