Excellent and early Heintz sterling silver on bronze ink well measuring 3" high with the bottom 6" square and top of ink well 3 1/2" square. This piece of classic arts and crafts metalwork has a very nice original patina with intrinsic silver overlay design on the top of inkwell. Amazingly the ink well has it’s original glass lidded ink insert. The ink well is marked with the HMS diamond mark absent the 1912 patent designation of later pieces. The ink well is in excellent con ...click for details

Spectacular as it is rare early Tiffany Furnaces bronze enameled desk box measuring 6" by 4.5" by 2.25" high. The piece is intricately detailed and enameled on all sides with intricate raised and nugget detailing. This is by far the best conditioned one I have seen over many a year, as there are no flaws or chipped enamel and the wood insert is perfect. A recent article on Tiffany by V. Moriarty for the Antiquer wrote that Tiffany's use of enameling on metal "...has be ...click for details
