Very rare Stickley Brothers early V back rocker and chair set. Both in excellent condition with original spring foundation over new soft leather. Wonderful design with side slats, through tenons on top of the arms, and fully figured quartered oak. Excellent form with double pinned head and foot rails representing the best in early Stickley Brothers construction that is lost on later models. Harden even arm settle measuring 78" long, 27 1/2" deep and 32" high with the seating surface measuring 71" long and 24" deep. The settle is all quartered oak and retains it's original finish and spring foundation. The piece is signed on the interior back stretcher with the Harden paper label as shown.

Tops in desirability among early lighting collectors is this Pittsburgh Indian encampment scene lamp. The lamp measures 22" high and is 16" wide. The shade is obverse painted in wonderful forest tones with trees, a rushing river with a roaring fire and Indian tee-pee at its edge. The lamp is in excellent condition with no damage.

Miller signed early pre 1910 arts & crafts slag glass lamp measuring 22" high and 18" wide. The lamp shade has a floral and leaf border and wonderful original slag panels. The two socket base has a Grueby style upturned leaf form in Grueby green coloration. It is interesting how cos. exchanged forms and ideas in this early 20th Century period. The lamp is in excellent condition with no damage.

This rocker is a rare form with very large front and back top arm through tenons and predates the Stickley Brothers set that appears in the Stickley Brothers 1912 catalog reprint, pg 9, including the smaller 790 rocker, 790 3/4 chair, and 3861 Settle. Set of six 1907 Gustav Stickley 306 1/2 ladder back dining chairs measuring 16" by 16" and 36" tall. The set is comprised of two arm chairs and four side chairs making a complete set. The chairs retain their original dark fumed finish and have been freshly upholstered in dark brown full grain leather retaining the original pyramid tacks with each chair being signed Gustav Stickley. The set is in very good original condition.
