Rare original 1870's Robertson steel plate engraving of the late 1860's H.A Thomas lithograph of A. Lincoln and his family taken from Anthony Berger's original 1864 photo. Robertson was an acclaimed NYC engraver who was unfortunate to have his studio destroyed in the PT Barnum American Museum fire of 1865. The engraving is in good condition and retains it's original gesso gilded frame. The overall size is 25" by 21" with the sight being 17" by 13 1/2".
