| Extremely rare 1911 Saturday Evening Girls motto plate stating "YOU MUST STILL BE BRIGHT & QUIET & CONTENT WITH SIMPLE DIET". Beautiful 3 color decoration in primary green with blue and off white accent banding with blue lettering. The 6 1/2" plate has quite a complicated design incised and decorated beautifully and would be a prize addition to an arts & crafts era pottery collection. The plate is in excellent condition with no damage and is signed 14 4-3-11 SEG with artist cipher of IG for SEG artist Ida Goldstein. | |
